Blessed rain yesterday. Thunder. Something brewing all day, then unleashed at 6 o'clock. A relief. And a mirror of the day's events.
The kids and I dashed from Summer Scheme to Starbucks down the road in the downpour. Drank hot chocolate and marvelled at the thunder and slanted sheets of water on the other side of the window. The allotment will be pleased.
