today's harvest

An abundant harvest today - from the allotment. Beetroot, dwarf beans, peas, lettuce, spinach, dahlias, sweet peas... my mum's here and we're about to feast. Thanks Dad and Pam for the lovely basket!
Keith and mum are in the kitchen and the kids and I are sitting in the garden eating (shop bought this year) sweetcorn.

Ellis astounded me yet again with his dance. The Hurricane Project ended today - they had all the family and friends in today to watch the fruits of their labours. There's an amazing energy to a bunch of 10-14 year-olds. Some fantastic creativity.
